Eliminator Stealth Spot: Gobos and Movement

Spot fixtures project patterns, called gobos, onto dance floors, walls, and stages, adding texture and movement that wash lights can’t. The Stealth Spot’s rotating gobos spin as the head pans and tilts, and the 3-facet prism multiplies beams for a bigger aerial look. Motorized focus keeps patterns sharp at different distances, and the color wheel adds seven colors plus a rainbow effect.

The compact body and light weight make the Stealth Spot easy to carry and mount on truss or stands.

Stealth Spot Control Options

In sound-active mode, the Stealth Spot moves and changes gobos and colors with the music. Auto mode runs built-in programs, and primary/secondary mode syncs multiple fixtures. For full creative control, use a DMX controller in 5 or 15-channel mode to program position, color, gobo, prism, and focus.

Setting Up the Stealth Spot

Mount Stealth Spots on truss or lighting stands, always using safety cables when hanging overhead. Place pairs on either side of a stage or DJ booth for symmetrical effects. Use a little haze to make the beams and prism effects visible in the air, and focus gobos for the surface you’re projecting on.

What to Pair With the Stealth Spot

Pair Stealth Spots with a haze machine to show off beams, wash lights for stage color, and a DMX controller or lighting software for programmed shows. The matching Stealth Beam adds tight beam effects to complement the Stealth Spot’s gobos.

Using Gobos Creatively

Gobos aren’t just for dance floors. Project slow-rotating patterns onto walls and ceilings during dinner for subtle texture, aim them at the dance floor during high-energy songs, or focus a gobo on a backdrop behind a band. Combining the prism with gobo rotation creates swirling, multiplied patterns that fill a room. Changing focus slightly can soften patterns for a dreamier look, while sharp focus keeps them crisp and defined.

Eliminator Stealth Spot FAQ

What’s the difference between a spot and a beam? A spot projects gobos and patterns with a wider beam, while a beam fixture produces a very tight, punchy beam of light. Many rigs use both.

Can I run it without a controller? Yes. Sound-active and auto modes run built-in programs on their own.
