AlphaTheta Wave Eight

The AlphaTheta WAVE-EIGHT is a battery-powered 8-inch portable DJ speaker built for wireless DJing anywhere. Its SonicLink technology transmits audio with ultra-low latency, so you can mix from your decks without cables and without the delay that makes Bluetooth unusable for DJing. A custom 8-inch driver with Vortex Bass Accelerator, about 8 hours of battery life, IPX4 weather resistance, and built-in casters make it ready for parties indoors and out.

AlphaTheta WAVE-EIGHT: Wireless DJing Without the Delay

Bluetooth speakers add too much latency for DJs to beatmatch. SonicLink solves that problem, transmitting audio much faster than Bluetooth, so only a fraction of a second passes between pressing play and hearing the track. Take the included transmitter from its storage compartment, connect it to your DJ gear, and the speaker is ready to play.

Big Sound From a Portable Speaker

A highly efficient Class-D amplifier, a newly developed 8-inch driver, and the Vortex Bass Accelerator deliver clear, punchy sound with surprising bass, even outdoors. Sound modes selectable with a single switch tailor the output for music or flat response, with low-cut options for use with a subwoofer.

Setting Up the WAVE-EIGHT

Charge the battery, roll the speaker into position, and connect the SonicLink transmitter to your controller or all-in-one system. Or connect directly to the XLR/TRS combo inputs, 1/4-inch input, or 3.5 mm input. Select Mono, Stereo, or Subwoofer mode and set your level.

What to Pair With the WAVE-EIGHT

Pair the WAVE-EIGHT with the AlphaTheta OMNIS-DUO battery-powered DJ system for a completely cable-free setup, a second WAVE-EIGHT for stereo, a speaker stand, and DJ headphones.

Scale Up With Multiple Speakers

Link two WAVE-EIGHT speakers in stereo, or add a third as a dedicated subwoofer for a club-style low end, all over SonicLink. Mode switching makes it simple to configure each speaker’s role.

Built for the Outdoors

With an IPX4 rating, the WAVE-EIGHT handles splashes at beach parties and backyard events, and the USB-C port can charge your phone or other devices.

Easy to Transport

The extendable handle, casters, and grab handles let one person move the 28-pound speaker anywhere, and a built-in pole socket lets you raise it on a stand for wider coverage.

Perfect for Mobile DJs

For pop-up events, rooftop parties, and small venues, the WAVE-EIGHT removes the need for power outlets and cable runs, so you can set up wherever the party is.

AlphaTheta WAVE-EIGHT FAQ

How long does the battery last? About 8 hours, with charging in about 4 hours when powered off.
