Setting Up the M5-MP

Mount the mics with the included RM5 clips on a stereo bar or two stands. For an XY pair, place the capsules as close together as possible at a 90-degree angle, aimed at the source. For a spaced pair, place them a few feet apart facing the source. Connect each mic to a preamp with phantom power, match gain on both channels, and pan them left and right.

Pair the M5-MP with a stereo bar, two mic stands or a stereo mount, a two-channel audio interface with phantom power, and quality XLR cables. Use the included WS5 windshields outdoors or for close vocal work.
