Electro-Voice Evolve 50 (White)

This kit combines the Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 Portable 1000W Bluetooth-Enabled Subwoofer with the Evolve 50 Column Speaker to create a lightweight, active PA setup designed to provide high-powered, wide-range frequency reproduction for sound engineers, presenters, and DJs in clubs, parties, concert venues, and live stage events. The kit includes the powered subwoofer, magnetic speaker pole, column array speaker, power cord, and carry bag for the speaker pole and column array — finished in white to blend seamlessly with wedding and upscale event décor.

The white Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 subwoofer utilizes a 12″ driver and is powered by the integrated 1000W (500W to subwoofer) amplifier, which combines with the column array to provide a frequency response of 43 Hz to 20 kHz with a maximum SPL output of 127 dB.

System setup is simple and fast. Slide the magnetically locking mounting pole into the appropriate hole on top of the subwoofer, then place the column speaker array on the pole — no cables to run between the sub and array, since audio connectivity is made via internal cabling in the mounting pole. The subwoofer features mic and line inputs via XLR-1/4″ combo jacks, stereo RCA, and 3.5mm aux input jacks, and XLR thru and mix outputs. It’s Bluetooth-enabled for wireless music streaming, with onboard DSP functions (mode presets, 3-band EQ, sub level, and more) adjustable via the rear-panel LCD display or the EV QuickSmart Mobile app.

The column array uses eight 3.5″ neodymium drivers with a custom-designed waveguide for consistent 120° horizontal coverage and 40° asymmetrical vertical coverage, directing acoustic energy toward both sitting and standing audiences.

Highlights

• EV QuickSmart Mobile app — wirelessly configure, control, and monitor up to six EVOLVE 50 systems simultaneously
• High-quality Bluetooth audio streaming for background music or musical accompaniment
• QuickSmart DSP with EV’s signature single-knob interface and LCD
• Lightweight, magnet-assisted pole assembly — no cable runs between sub and column
• Clean white finish for weddings and décor-sensitive events

Buy or Rent the Evolve 50 White — Which Makes Sense for You?

If you regularly run upscale events, weddings, or corporate functions where appearance matters, buying the Evolve 50 White makes sense — it’s a long-term investment backed by Electro-Voice’s warranty and Metro’s in-house service support. If you need this exact elegant column system for a one-off wedding or event, renting by the day gets you the same unit without the upfront cost.

Whether you buy or rent, it’s the identical Evolve 50 — the same 1,000W system, the same column array, the same white finish. Metro doesn’t maintain a separate, lower-spec rental fleet; what you rent is what you’d buy.

Electro-Voice Evolve 50 White Use Cases
