Product Details

The Allen & Heath Avantis Solo with dPack brings the power of the Avantis platform to an even smaller footprint, pairing a single 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen and 12 faders with the 96 kHz XCVI FPGA engine derived from Allen & Heath’s flagship dLive systems. The included dPack upgrade unlocks DEEP processing, Dyn8 dynamics, exclusive RackExtra FX, and an expanded mix engine, making it a serious console for tight FOH positions, theaters, worship, and touring.

Highlights

  • 96 kHz XCVI FPGA engine with ultra-low latency
  • dPack expands the console from 64 to 96 input channels and from 42 to 56 configurable mixes
  • 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen with gesture control
  • 12 faders across 6 layers for 72 fader strips
  • DEEP compressors and preamp emulation, 16 Dyn8 engines
  • 6 XLR in, 6 XLR out, AES, 2 I/O ports, and SLink

Allen & Heath Avantis Solo: Avantis Power, Smaller Footprint

Avantis Solo keeps the full Avantis mix engine and Continuity UI in a compact surface that fits small FOH positions, broadcast desks, and road cases. Drag-and-drop workflows, configurable widget areas, 18 assignable SoftKeys, and user-configurable rotaries let you build a layout that matches the way you mix.

What dPack Adds

dPack unlocks dLive-grade processing inside input and mix channels with zero latency: DEEP compressors such as PeakLimiter 76, 16T, 16VU, Mighty, Opto, OptTronik, and Bus, expanders, and the Dual Stage Valve Preamp. Dyn8 combines four bands of dynamic EQ and four bands of multiband compression across 16 instances, exclusive RackExtra FX include HypaBass and Transient Controller, and on current firmware the mix engine expands to 96 inputs and 56 mixes.

Setting Up the Avantis Solo

Connect local sources to the six XLR inputs, or add an Allen & Heath stage box over SLink for stage I/O. Patch outputs to your PA and monitors, add Dante, MADI, Waves, or gigaACE cards in the two I/O ports as needed, and use word clock for sync. Build layers and SoftKeys, then save scenes for each show.

What to Pair With the Avantis Solo

Pair the Avantis Solo with an Allen & Heath DX168 or GX4816 stage box, a Dante card for network audio, an iPad for MixPad or Avantis Director, and a road case.

Expandable I/O

Two I/O ports each support 128×128 channels at 96 kHz, and the SLink port connects stage boxes and expanders, so the Solo scales from a few local inputs to a large networked system.

Built for Small Spaces

A compact metal chassis and a single large touchscreen make the Solo ideal where space is tight, such as balcony mix positions, broadcast trucks, and small theaters, without giving up console-grade processing.

Avantis Solo vs. Avantis

Both share the same engine and software. The full Avantis adds a second 15.6-inch screen, 24 faders, and 12 local XLR inputs and outputs, while the Solo offers 12 faders, one screen, and 6 local inputs and outputs in a smaller footprint.
