ADJ MDF2-9SYS: A Complete LED Dance Floor in One Case

An LED dance floor turns any event into a showpiece, but many floors are heavy, slow to assemble, and require lots of cabling. ADJ’s MDF system was designed to solve that. Each 600 x 600 mm panel is just 70 mm high and weighs about 12 kg, and panels snap together with magnets. Power and data pass between adjacent panels without cables, so only one power ramp per row needs to be connected.

The MDF2-9SYS packs everything you need for a 3×3 floor into a single flight case, making it ideal for rental and event production companies.

DMX Control and Color

Power and DMX control enter each row through the MDF2PR power ramp, which has 3-pin XLR input and output and proprietary 24 V DC power connections. Connect the floor to a DMX controller or lighting console to run colors, chases, and patterns in sync with the rest of your lighting rig.

Setting Up the MDF2-9SYS

Choose a flat, level surface. Lay out the first row of panels, connecting the power ramp to the row, then add the remaining rows, letting the magnets align each panel. Fit the edge and corner ramps on the remaining sides for a safe, finished edge. Connect the power supply and DMX, then test the floor before guests arrive. Use the dedicated lifting tool to remove panels from the middle of the floor.

What to Pair With the MDF2-9SYS

Pair the MDF2-9SYS with a DMX controller or lighting software, uplighting, moving heads, and haze for a complete event look. Add more MDF2-9SYS systems or individual panels and accessories for larger floors.
