Blizzard Pro LB Hex Unplugged

The Blizzard Lighting LB Hex Unplugged is a battery-powered LED par that delivers rich hex-color light anywhere, with no power cables to run. Blizzard LB Hex Unplugged: Cable-Free Uplighting

The hardest part of uplighting a venue is often running power to every fixture safely and discreetly. The LB Hex Unplugged eliminates that problem. Each fixture runs on its own battery, so you can place lights behind centerpieces, along walls, under tables, or in the middle of a room with nothing to plug in and no cables for guests to trip over. Setup and teardown are dramatically faster, which matters when you’re working against a venue’s load-in schedule.

Hex LEDs produce saturated colors, convincing ambers and pastels, clean whites, and UV, so you can match any event’s color palette.

LB Hex Unplugged Control Options

Use the included IR-3 remote to set colors and modes quickly, or run built-in auto and sound-active programs. For wireless DMX control, plug a Blizzard wiCICLE receiver into the DMX input; the fixture powers it, so there’s no separate battery or power supply to manage. Choose 8 or 13-channel DMX modes depending on how much control you need.

Setting Up the LB Hex Unplugged

Charge fixtures fully before the event. Place them about a foot from walls or architectural features, aimed upward, and space them evenly. Set a single color for maximum runtime, or use the remote to adjust the whole room at once. If you’re using wireless DMX, pair each wiCICLE receiver with your transmitter before the event.

What to Pair With the LB Hex Unplugged

Most event companies buy these fixtures in sets of eight or ten, along with a padded carry case or charging case. Add wiCICLE receivers and a wireless DMX transmitter for full wireless control from a lighting console or software.

Blizzard LB Hex Unplugged FAQ

How long does the battery last? More than 4 hours with all LEDs on, and up to 15 hours on a single color.

Is wireless DMX built in? The fixture is wiCICLE-ready: add a Blizzard wiCICLE receiver to the DMX input for wireless DMX, powered by the fixture.
