The Next Generation of the Yamaha Digital Console Line
The Yamaha DM5 digital mixing console is Yamaha's newest flagship desk, built for touring, broadcast, corporate AV, and theater engineers who need studio-grade processing with the reliability Yamaha consoles are known for. It shares its processing engine with the acclaimed DM7 series, scaled into a rugged dual-bay control surface designed to live on a front-of-house cart or a permanent install rack.
The Yamaha DM5 mixes up to 60 channels across 24 mix busses, 12 matrices, two stereo busses, and 12 DCAs, with 64x64 Dante networking at 96 kHz for tying into a larger show network. Two 12-fader bays plus masters (26 faders total) put hands-on control within reach on both sides of the console.

Dugan Automixer
The Dugan Speech System algorithm reinforces multiple mics while automatically maintaining overall level to avoid feedback — 12 channels standard, expandable to 64.
Premium Rack
A PY-DSP card unlocks 32 plug-in slots, including the Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5033 EQ and Portico 5043 compressor, plus Yamaha plugins like Dynamic EQ and DaNSe noise suppression.
43 Effect Types
A built-in multi-effects processor delivers 13 reverb types (including REV HD and REV R3), 8 delay types, modulation effects, and saturation tools like an amp simulator and MBC3 multiband compressor.
Built to See in Any Room
Each bay carries its own 13.3-inch touchscreen alongside a 4.3-inch utility display, with an adjustable tilt offering four viewing angles to cut glare in bright rooms and outdoor mixing positions. The rugged dual-bay chassis is built to live on a front-of-house cart show after show, or in a permanent install rack.
A compact single-bay version, the DM5C (48-channel), brings the same DM7-derived engine into a smaller footprint.

Multilingual Channel Names
Channel name displays support multiple languages, so artist and instrument names show in the operator's own language for faster, more intuitive operation.
Broadcast, Theatre & PY Expansion
Add the Broadcast Package for Mix Minus and Audio Follow Video, or the Theatre Package for 4-Bank EQ/DYN and an Actor Library. The PY slot adds up to 64 channels of I/O via Dante SRC, MADI, AES/EBU, or MIDI/GPI cards.
