Electro-Voice R300-HD: Simple, Dependable Wireless

The R300 series is designed for users who want wireless that just works. Press ClearScan on the receiver and it finds the clearest available channel, then sync the transmitter and you’re ready to go, no frequency expertise required. The true diversity receiver uses two antennas and selects the stronger signal, reducing dropouts as the presenter moves around the room.

The PL22 capsule delivers clear, natural vocals with a cardioid pattern that rejects background noise and helps control feedback, and the metal transmitter body stands up to daily use.

Long Battery Life for Long Events

With up to 14 hours of operation from two AA alkaline batteries, the R300-HD easily handles full-day conferences, multiple church services, and long events without battery changes. Keep spare batteries on hand and swap them before each event for peace of mind.

Setting Up the R300-HD

Place the receiver with a clear line of sight to the performance area, connect its output to your mixer, and run ClearScan to choose a channel. Sync the transmitter, set the receiver’s output level, and do a quick walk-around test of the room. For multiple systems, use ClearScan on each receiver so the channels are coordinated.

What to Pair With the R300-HD

Pair the R300-HD with a mixer or powered speaker that has an XLR or 1/4-inch input, rechargeable or spare AA batteries, and a rack kit or case for the receiver. For presenters who want hands-free operation, consider the matching R300-L lavalier system.

Choosing the Right Frequency Band

Wireless microphones operate in specific frequency bands, and availability varies by location as TV stations and other services use parts of the spectrum. This system operates in Band C (516-532 MHz). If you’re unsure which band is best for your area, or you’re adding systems to an existing rack, our team can help you coordinate frequencies.
