Shure BLX14R: Wireless Guitar for Your Rack

The BLX4R receiver mounts in a standard rack alongside your other gear, keeping your rig tidy and protected. Antenna diversity improves reliability, and the removable antennas can be relocated to the front of the rack for optimal signal reception.

Clear Status at a Glance

The receiver’s LCD displays group and channel settings and meters audio level and RF signal strength, and a battery indicator shows the transmitter’s remaining life, so there are no surprises during a set.

Setting Up the BLX14R

Mount the BLX4R in your rack with the included hardware and position the antennas on the front. Power on and run QuickScan, then match the BLX1 bodypack’s group and channel. Connect the WA302 cable to your instrument and bodypack, and run the receiver’s 1/4-inch or XLR output to your amp or mixer, adjusting the output level as needed.

What to Pair With the BLX14R

Pair the BLX14R with a rack case, rechargeable AA batteries, a power conditioner such as the Radial Power-1, and quality instrument and XLR cables.

Expandable System

The BLX1 bodypack also works with Shure lavalier, headset, earset, and instrument microphones, so a BLX14R can serve presenters or horn players as well as guitarists. Up to 12 compatible BLX systems can run per frequency band.

Built for Installs and Rentals

Rack mounting, front antennas, and clear metering make the BLX14R a great fit for church racks, school AV systems, and rental inventory, where reliability and organization matter.

Tips for Reliable Wireless

Front-mount the antennas so they have line of sight to the stage, keep the rack away from Wi-Fi routers and LED walls, and rescan with QuickScan at each new venue. Check the battery indicator before each set.

Getting the Best Tone

Set the bodypack gain so the audio meter peaks without clipping on your loudest playing, then use the receiver’s adjustable output level to match your amp or pedalboard input.
