dB Technologies ES 1203: Stereo Column Sound

Most portable column systems are mono; the ES 1203 can run its two tops independently on stands for true stereo, or lock them together into one tall column for mono coverage. Logarithmic Curved Column Array alignment provides asymmetrical vertical coverage aimed at the audience, and specially designed phase plugs widen horizontal dispersion for clear intelligibility.

Powerful Dual 12-Inch Subwoofer

The semi-horn loaded subwoofer houses two 12-inch woofers, the Digipro G4 amplifier, and an OLED display with system controls. A plywood enclosure with a scratch-resistant black finish makes it road-ready, and the optional magnetic DO-ES1203 dolly speeds transport.

Setting Up the ES 1203

For mono, stack the two tops on the subwoofer pole; for stereo, place each top on its own stand. Connect the tops with the included Speakon cables, plug microphones and instruments into the mixer, and pair your phone over Bluetooth. Use the OLED display to choose a configuration mode and steering, recall presets, and set levels and EQ.

What to Pair With the ES 1203

Pair the ES 1203 with vocal microphones, mic stands, XLR cables, the WB-44 wall bracket for installs, the DP-ES1203 wooden pole for a clean mono look, and the DO-ES1203 dolly.

Built-In 5-Channel Mixer

Channel 1 accepts a mic or instrument with adjustable anti-feedback filtering and selectable mic gain; channels 2 and 3 are mic/line inputs, so the system can handle three microphones. A dedicated stereo channel receives Bluetooth audio, and the balanced AUX/MIX output feeds a monitor, another speaker, or a second ES 1203 in Double Column mode.

Double Column Mode

Link two ES 1203 systems to create a larger stereo PA, with each system receiving the left or right signal, for wider coverage and more output in bigger rooms.

Clean, Install-Friendly Design

In mono mode the optional DP-ES1203 wooden pole gives the system an elegant, unobtrusive look that suits restaurants, hotels, and houses of worship.

What’s Included

The ES 1203 ships with a sub cover, a bag for the tops, a telescopic 35 mm pole, two 7-meter Speakon cables, and a power cable.
