• Smart CFX applies combined effects with one knob
• Large jog wheels and 8 performance pads per deck

Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4: Learn on a Pro Layout

The DDJ-FLX4 inherits its mixer layout from Pioneer DJ’s club mixers, with gain, 3-band EQ, Color FX, channel faders, and a crossfader. Each deck has a large jog wheel, tempo slider, loop controls, and performance pads, so the skills you learn transfer directly to club equipment.

Smart Mixing Features

Smart Fader automatically adjusts BPM, volume, and bass as you move the faders or crossfader, so new DJs can create smooth transitions right away. Smart CFX layers combinations of effects with a single knob for dramatic builds, and Beat FX can be applied to either channel or both.

Setting Up the DDJ-FLX4

Connect the DDJ-FLX4 to your computer or mobile device with the included USB-C cable, open rekordbox or Serato DJ Lite, and load tracks. Connect the RCA master output to powered speakers, plug headphones into the front 3.5 mm jack, and connect a microphone to the 1/4-inch input for announcements.

What to Pair With the DDJ-FLX4

Pair the DDJ-FLX4 with DJ headphones, powered speakers or studio monitors, a laptop stand, a dynamic microphone, and a padded controller bag.

Stream and Perform

rekordbox supports streaming services such as TIDAL, Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming, and SoundCloud Go+ (subscriptions required), giving you millions of tracks to mix. The controller mixes microphone audio with your music and sends it over USB, so you can livestream sets without a separate mixer or sound card.

Portable by Design

The compact, lightweight body fits easily in a backpack, and a second USB port can power the controller when you’re DJing from a phone or tablet.

Growing Your Skills

Start with Smart Fader to learn track selection and phrasing, then switch it off to practice manual beatmatching with the jog wheels and tempo sliders. Move on to Hot Cues, loops, and EQ transitions on the performance pads, skills that carry over to any club setup.
